Motorway A8

(short Autobahn 8), otherwise BAB 8 - Bund esautobahn 8 Is a German highway No. 8, leading to its first sect ion from the German border with Luxembourg in Perl by Merzig, Saa rlouis, Neunkirchen, Zweibrücken to Pirmasens. Missing piece of the highway (see map), leading the Palatinate Forest (German Pfälzerwald) to Karlsruhe-Ettlingen, for various reasons was never built. Alternatively, however, may be replaced by a (kind of backdoor ) by the national road B10 (with 2 lanes in each direction) with the second bridge across the Rhine (Rheinbrücke Maximiliansau / Karlsruhe, Germany) and the north by the tangent of the city of Karlsruhe.
